Editorial policy
Spirited Future Guide aims to make futures thinking clear, careful and open to revision. We explain the limits of what a claim can show and avoid presenting speculation as certainty.
Accuracy and uncertainty
We check factual claims against suitable sources before publication and make clear when an example is hypothetical or an interpretation. Forecasts and scenarios are presented as possibilities, not facts about what will happen. Where evidence is limited or a point is uncertain, we say so rather than filling the gap with confidence.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not buy favorable coverage or control an editorial conclusion. We do not present a partner's claim as independent editorial judgment.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or a passage that gives a misleading impression, contact us with the article title and a description of the concern. We review correction requests, amend material when warranted and make significant changes clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Sponsored work and partner placements are labelled so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial material. Illustrations may be AI-generated; where that applies, the image is identified as such. Images are not offered as documentary evidence unless their status and context are made clear.
